Information we collect

You can use the site without an account. If you sign up, we only receive the information listed under "Account information" below. We never ask for your name, phone number or address.

Account information

When you sign up we keep your email address, sign-up date and the fingering settings you save to your account. They are used only for logging in and syncing fingerings, and are deleted as soon as you ask to delete your account. Account data is stored with Supabase on servers in Seoul. Passwords are stored encrypted, so not even the operator can see them.

Information stored in your browser

Your language, speed, display size and selected bars are saved in your browser's storage (localStorage) on your device. They are never sent to a server, and you can clear them in your browser settings at any time.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics) and cookies

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are used and to improve the site. Google uses cookies to collect things like the pages you view, your approximate region, and your device and browser type, and shows them to us as statistics. We never send your name or email to Google. This data is processed by Google, including on servers outside Korea such as in the United States.

In the EU and other regions where consent is required, analytics cookies are not used until you press "Allow". Wherever you are, you can allow or decline at any time from "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. If we add Google AdSense ads in the future, we will update this policy first.

Files uploaded to My songs

Sheet music and backing tracks you upload to My songs are stored only in your browser's storage (IndexedDB) on your device and are never sent to a server. The original sheet music file is not kept; only the notes read from it and the backing track are saved. Deleting a song from My songs removes it immediately.
